Now that I've got your attention LOL I will go on....
As some of you you I have launched a new MCN business with my friend and business partner, Anna.
RAWr Nappies means a huge amount to us both, it is not only an opportunity to throw ourselves into building what we hope will be a successful business to help our families financially but also, if successful, we look forward to it being a vehicle to promote that there are more eco-wise and sustainable choices out there for young families. Hopefully we can play a part in someone choosing to use more natural and less disposable materials in their day to day life.
RAWr is our passion. My My My! is also a passion for me, but as a creative outlet. RAWr is more of a "lets stand up and try to get people thinking" - lets do our part in promoting a more green minded lifestyle.
So now that I've spilt my guts I want to ask you for some help in getting our new passion 'out there' - will you help??
I wanna offer you a deal - what say you help us promote RAWr on Facebook a bit by sending friends over to our page? Ask everyone you refer to post on our wall to let us know who sent them, and the person who sends over the most people according to the wall posts will score themselves their very own totally customisable Lolly Bottoms MCN! Oh and anyone who sends more than 50 people over can choose a free RAWr Stuff n Snap too!
We want RAWr boasting 1000 likers so we can host more giveaways too SOooo when we get to that milestone that will be when I can announce who has scored the custom LB!
*Please note, the custom nappy will be open to almost anything your heart desires. But I won't embellish with crystals (I don't like them, they're awful) and I won't attempt to source almost impossible-to-source fabrics (though I do have misty sea and fairy floss here to use for appliques and they are probably the hardest to get nappy fabrics at the moment anyway).

New Sizes in Lolly Bottoms
Hi there, I thought I should come back and give you a little low down on the two new sizes of Lolly Bottoms MCN which are now available:
Extra Large is designed to fit children around 20kg, I couldn't find anything on the market (and I searched pretty exhaustively!) that 1. fit my 20kg child properly and 2. had an inner fabric that doesn't have a really bad effect on her skin. So what's the obvious answer when you make nappies??
...make one to fit!
So I did!
And that means now I can share it with people in a similar predicament! Which is awesome. :)
Sized to fit approximately 16-22kg children, I designed them to fit a large prefold laid into the shell so that the non-stay dry fabric (terry/fleece etc) of the prefold is against the child's skin. Of course if you want the nappy to be stay dry you can lay a microfleece liner on top of the prefold, or ask for it in pocket-form. :)
They will be sold as shell only, no absorbent inserts included. The idea being that an XL nappy is of course going to cost more to make than a regular sized one so if you can use an insert or prefold that you already have lying around it means I can sell it cheaper making it more accessible. With the price of disposable night training pants, a couple of these babies would pay for themselves very quickly.
(Please be aware these are not a pull up style but are quite easy for an older child to get off when learning to get up during the night.)
The One Size Fits Most has been designed to fit babies from approximately 4kg through to toddlers up to approximately 15kg.
This nappy has quite a different shape to the sized Lolly Bottoms - with the sized version I have tried to get as trim a fit as possible with as much absorbency as possible (in the heavy version), the OSFM has been designed to cover as many sizes as possible which means a less trim fit, absorbency to meet an average amount of wetness, and a shape to allow the largest and smallest of tummies and thighs!
I love it! And my primary tester loves it, which is very important! - I hope you'll love it too. :)
Now, these photos are of nappies without tummy elastic. Both these sizes will actually have tummy elastic as a standard feature, although the XL will generally only be sold as preorder or custom in which case you can request it be left as a flat front panel.
Well that's it for now - I hope you like the look of them and I hope I can get a few out there soon so I can share them with you!
